A leaker has disclosed the date and timing for Apple's iPhone 13 event.

 

According to Jon Prosser, the "iPhone 13" will be introduced on September 14 with a global launch on September 24.

The annual September iPhone event is upon us, and rumours about the "iPhone 13" announcement, pre-orders, and launch are rife. After a report suggested a September 17 release date, leaker Jon Prosser clarified the situation.

Prosser detailed the September 17 date and provided more details from his sources in a piece for Front Page Tech. According to him, the dates on the e-commerce website were right and corresponded to the projected dates.

Press invitations for the September event, according to Prosser's sources, will be sent out on September 7 for a September 14 event. The September 17 date is for pre-orders only, not for the actual launch, which will take place on September 24.

All "iPhone 13" variants will be available for pre-order at the same time, according to Prosser. The iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max were previously unavailable for a month after their announcement.
